Set your time machine for 1988 destination Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The center of the gay galaxy and once again video historian Tony Hayden - takes you back to Memorial Day 1988. Hayden’s signature hotel of the times was the Shell Motel, and this weekend all of his friends have converged on the sandy shores of Lauderdale. Relive memories of the 80’s strip, The Marlin Beach and get to know some of Tony’s friends. “I’ve always surrounded myself with people who make me laugh”, says videographer Hayden.
