The Demon Lady, an original short by Chris Conner, explores the coming of age and sexual awakening of a young boy in repressive Victorian England through supernatural Gothic imagery in a haunting portrait of adolescent desire and the dark side of human passion.
When young Erik falls for the handsome gardener on his family’s sprawling estate, he unleashes the fury of his overprotective aristocrat mother and that of a dark spirit that haunts the manor. Can Erik escape the mysterious demon lady and find true love?

McDonald’s is probably not laughing at out (and out there) comic Andy Dick and Martin Short’s viral video sensation that just debuted on Will Ferrell’s FunnyOrDie.com. The outrageous two-minute PETA spot features Martin Short’s Jiminy Glick character grilling a “fried” Ronald McDonald (Andy Dick) about the company’s slaughter practices. As you know, many of PETA’s campaigns go for the heart or the throat - this one’s aimed at the funny bone.
The surreal spoof - which must be seen to be believed - is currently featured in one of the top business stories on NYTimes.com, has made the front page of The Huffington Post, and was just voted “best of the week” on FunnyOrDie.com, a comedy site that attracts 3.5 million visitors each month. You can watch the video here: http://www.funnyordie.com/videos/0c73561a77/video-1. The video is the focus of a unique online campaign that we thought you might like to cover.
The parody focuses on McDonald’s chicken slaughter practices. PETA - along with members of McDonald’s own animal welfare advisory panel - has urged McDonald’s in the U.S. and Canada to switch to a less cruel slaughter method that some of the company’s suppliers in Europe already use. McDonald’s North American suppliers use an outdated method that causes birds to suffer serious injuries, including broken wings and broken legs. The birds’ throats are cut while they are still conscious, and many of them are scalded to death in defeathering tanks. For more information, please visit McCruelty.com.
Thanks for considering this, and let us know if you have any questions.
Best regards,
Christine

My friend Hans and I have started a YouTube series on a spoof of Sonny & Cher about a month ago. Our third episode is now posted and so far it’s the best one.
The two of us play the characters, “Cher” being a transvestite, with Sonny having come back from the dead (in her mind).
Cher is on “crack” referred to as “cotton candy” in the script, and hits the bottle a lot. She is always seeing things. Sonny, a figment of her imagination, pumps her with the “cotton candy,” and is always trying to get her to practice and meet contract obligations.
In Part 3, they are booked to perform her comeback tour in a lounge considered “Off-Off Vegas,” at a place called Crappy Downtown Guido Motor Lodge.
(We all know GLBT’s love Cher as their icon, but this might be a bit risqué.)
All our future episodes will present a situation that prevents “Cher” from getting on stage.
We appreciate your viewing and all comments posted for this YouTube episode!! Thank you to all and Happy viewing!
